Novus
Overview
Novus is a sustainability-focused fintech platform that empowers users to make smarter financial decisions while creating a positive environmental impact. We designed a modern and intuitive mobile experience that combines seamless banking features with impact-driven insights, delivering an engaging user journey through clean interfaces, thoughtful UX, and a vibrant visual identity.

Design Process
Joining Novus during a crucial phase, my focus was on diving deep into the comprehensive user feedback gathered across the MVP, V1, and V2 testing stages. Working closely with the project manager in an agile environment, we strategized and executed UI and UX enhancements informed directly by that feedback, always keeping Novus's sustainable banking ethos front and center. The process leaned heavily on iteration: prioritizing key areas for improvement, prototyping and wireframing solutions, then subjecting each version to rigorous internal review before moving to the next phase, making sure every change was intentional and grounded in real user data.
The Challange
The main challenge was making sense of a large volume of user feedback spanning three different testing stages and turning it into clear, actionable design improvements. It also meant stepping into a project where the competitive research had already been done by the team before I joined, so part of the challenge was aligning that existing competitive context with real-world user insights, rather than starting from scratch, while still pushing the app's UX and UI forward in a way that felt intuitive and stayed true to Novus's sustainability mission.
The Solution
Through a data-driven, iterative approach, we delivered a more intuitive and user-centric app interface that let Novus's customers manage their finances effortlessly while staying connected to the brand's sustainable values. Combining the team's existing competitive research with hands-on usability testing after each enhancement, the app saw a genuinely positive feedback loop, improved user retention, higher app ratings, and an overall experience that felt noticeably smoother and more aligned with what users actually needed.
