EasyBites
Overview
EasyBites is a parenting and nutrition platform designed to help families build healthy eating habits for young children. We created a friendly, engaging, and intuitive digital experience that makes expert nutrition guidance easily accessible through thoughtful UX, clear content organization, and a warm, approachable visual design.

Design Process
As the lead designer on EasyBites, I started by conceptualizing and crafting an intuitive, visually appealing interface that could make child nutrition resources feel accessible rather than overwhelming for parents. Alongside the design work, I also took on orchestrating the project's timelines and resources, coordinating closely with the development team, the UX researcher, and the CTO throughout. Before landing on a final direction, I conducted a competitive analysis, looking closely at apps like Mealtime, Noom, Headspace, Simple, and Lasta, drawing inspiration from things like Noom's structured course journeys and Headspace's calming, cohesive visual language. That research directly shaped how EasyBites approached its own courses, resources, and overall aesthetic, all while working toward the successful launch of the MVP.
The Challange
One of the biggest challenges was designing something genuinely useful for a very specific and sensitive audience: parents navigating child nutrition and feeding difficulties for kids aged 0-5. The app needed to bring together a lot of different content types, expert-led courses, healthy recipes, practical tips, and a saved-articles toolbox, without feeling cluttered or overwhelming. On top of that, standing out in a market full of adjacent wellness and habit-building apps meant carving out a clear identity, since EasyBites needed to feel distinctly focused on child nutrition rather than blending into the broader meal-planning or wellness app space.
The Solution
The result was a user-friendly, visually appealing interface that made EasyBites' wealth of resources easy to navigate, drawing on the best parts of what worked well elsewhere (Noom's structured learning paths, Headspace's calming visual approach) while carving out its own identity as a dedicated child nutrition resource. This design-led approach paid off directly: the MVP launch saw a rapid increase in downloads and daily users, parents reported real gains in confidence feeding their kids, and user feedback consistently praised how user-friendly and practical the app felt to use.
